By default, the border will be added to the inside of your image. This preserves the pixel dimensions of your original image, at the cost of obscuring its edges.
Alternately, you can select the checkbox marked Apply to Outside of Image. In this case, FotoFinish will expand your image area to accommodate the thickness of the border. Your entire original image will be visible inside the border.
